Artist Profile

Pingping began her artistic journey since she was a small child living in China. She drew people and animals as long as she could remember. Her mother, childhood best friend and her first boyfriend were all fantastic artists. She believes they were all her teachers and molded her into who she is. She moved to Los Angeles at age 15.

After graduating from Art Center College Of Design in 2003 with an industrial design degree, she worked as a footwear designer at Nike, and later transitioned into handbags and clothing design. Now she creates unique wearable art can be seen at www.pingpingclothing.com.
