I was born and raised in Beijing. As a child, I was fascinated by the dramatic styling in manga and comic book illustrations, I started drawing as soon as I could hold a pencil. When I moved to LA at age 16, and as I progressed, I was deeply moved by the realism and emotional depth of American pin-up styling. I want my paintings to capturec the female beauty and its soulful, playful essence.
